When I first started learning the oriental part of this tango oriental, I was sooo excited, I absolutely LOVED the oriental tango part, its so aghh! Emotion!! Amazing, I was spontaneously breaking out in tango-like moves all day afterwards! As always the drum part was great, varied, full of her classic isolation combos and tango notes.
Jasirah never fails to impress me with her teaching, mostly I feel relief because I learn from many teachers online, but her tutorials are so much easier to follow and learn from with the constant repetitions and the clear instructions, and counting, but.. I saw another element in the tango oriental tutorial, an emphasis on teaching the tango style, which I think is very hard to teach and even harder to grasp, but when mastered, is dance as art.
The way she prepares so thoroughly every time she teaches workshops/choreography, her discipline and character really shine through, and you can tell she really gives everything she can think of, to teach each style, technique, and theory. <3
